liberate your art

In the middle of planning her family's move from Milan back to Oregon earlier this summer, my Mortal Muses pal Kat decided to throw one more task on her overloaded plate.  Kat is not only a talented photographer (with a full-time job and a family) but a community builder - the last being one of my favourite traits of hers.

She revved up the Liberate Your Art postcard swap before she left Milan, and by the time she reached Oregon in July had over 1,000 postcards to sort - artwork submitted from bloggers around the world which she sorted, addressed, stamped and then sent out again.  I loved the idea of exchanging artwork this way.
