This is the first year we've actually trick or treated in our neighbourhood. Normally we go to a local parade - we've been avoiding the whole GET CANDY chaos til now.
There's obviously no going back as Sweetpea loved every second of it.
Sweetpea has never done it, so she made it a requirement of the day
and ruled that whoever got their apple (or pear) first
got to eat it with lunch. No argument there.

She discovered that it was a little more difficult than expected
and declared "Mumma, I think I need a little encouragement."
Here's me being encouraging.

Have you taken the picture yet??
(A fairy butterfly princess is quite a departure for my little tough nut soccer kid cowgirl.)

Waiting for trick or treaters
(we didn't get many, they obviously all go to the neighbourhoods that are cooler than ours).

Hope you had a spooky Hallowe'en!!

Go here to see my friend Spanky's Hallowe'en handiwork. It's his favourite holiday of the entire year!

We LOVE Sophie!!!!! She looks amazing!!!!! (we think her mom and dad look scary, though, Cassidy says - wasn't Sophie scared of them?)
ReplyDeleteWe love you...can't wait to see the Fairy Butterfly Princess in person, hopefully not in the too distant future!
Love Lianne, Bryanna and Cassidy
She's used to us looking scary on Hallowe'en. Her exact comment was "you don't look pretty like me, but you look really good and silly"
