Needless to say, we kept those girls going with visits to Alcatraz, the Monterey Bay Aquarium, trips to the beach, the pool, hikes, ice cream, day camp (twice!) and much more. My sister and I are meeting up in NYC this weekend as grownups just to take a breather.
But although a wrap-up isn't going to materialize, I wanted to share a glimpse of my girls. Sweetpea and her two cousins, despite only seeing each other a few times a year, are like this. They are as close as sisters/friends can be, play for hours together without rancor, explode into fights and just as quickly forgive and forget and get right back to the fun stuff. They're awesome to watch (and exhausting).
